This day-long retreat brought together school leadership teams, department chairs and academic unit leaders across the campus to work collaboratively and reflect on the results of the 2021 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Survey. Navigating and Communicating Your Unit’s Survey Results in Tableau

In this first follow-up workshop, David Jamieson-Drake and his Institutional Research team walked through the three basic Tableau analyses, and discussed the purposes each serves; addressed a few common interpretive challenges, including statistical significance of results; and introduced optionally available Tableau reports showing results of more focused interest, such as by functional work area and allowing ad hoc grouping of units.
