Six Duke Faculty Join Ivy+ Leadership Program
Six Duke faculty members have been selected as 2026–2027 fellows in the Institute for Faculty Leadership, a program of the Ivy+ Faculty Advancement Network. Nominated by their deans, the fellows will join faculty colleagues from across Ivy+ institutions to develop leadership strategies, exchange perspectives and explore opportunities and challenges facing higher education today.
The Ivy+ Faculty Advancement Network brings together Brown, Chicago, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Stanford and Yale.
The program begins with a virtual launch, followed by a two-day gathering at Cornell in October. Throughout the academic year, fellows will participate in monthly programming with faculty experts, culminating in a capstone summit at Yale in April.
The Duke cohort will also meet throughout the year to consider how insights from the Ivy+ program can inform leadership at Duke and will participate in regular convenings with senior university leaders.
This leadership experience is part of Duke Faculty Advancement’s suite of programs providing opportunities for current and prospective faculty leaders.
