Faculty Advancement Seed Grants

Confronting Racism and Bias: Fostering an Inclusive Community

Duke is committed to advancing faculty excellence by fostering an environment where all faculty can thrive. Our goal is to advance that commitment and support the faculty and their academic programs.

These seed grants are intended to provide a financial head start for novel faculty development initiatives within academic units aiming to foster a sense of community and a welcoming and respectful climate for all members.

For the 2021 cycle, proposed projects should seek to build bridges and address dynamics between faculty colleagues, faculty and staff, or faculty and students. We will also accept a limited number of proposals that do not fall within the thematic area but propose innovative faculty development initiatives.
