Empowering Your Faculty to Partner in Improving Climate and Culture in Your Unit

Departmental and school-wide leaders are key in advancing the Duke values of respect, trust, inclusion, discovery and fairness. To further this mission, it is essential to have the support, motivation and engagement of the faculty to serve as strong local leaders who uphold and advance these norms in classrooms, research groups, committee meetings and day-to-day interactions. This workshop will help leaders to learn effective ways to engage and empower their faculty to serve as primary partners to improve the climate and culture in their units.
