Duke Faculty Reexamine Their Roles as Scholars and Mentors in an Uncertain Time

Many professors who are considering retirement are curious about what it means to be emeriti but can’t always find role models and mentors to help them see what’s possible. Several colleagues shared how they’ve bridged the transition to emeriti status.

The Faculty Success Program uses coaching, peer support and accountability to help faculty reach their goals from writing and research productivity to time management and more. Post-Tenure Pathfinders is a follow-on program for associate professors.
