Faculty Success Program
The Faculty Success Program (FSP) is open to non-tenure* and tenure-track faculty at the assistant and associate professorship ranks who would like to maintain and improve their research productivity and time management. Offered by NCFDD, the program uses coaching, peer support and accountability to help faculty reach their goals.
The Office for Faculty Advancement (OFA) provides schools with matching funds for faculty participation. Interested faculty should contact their departments and schools for approval. OFA works directly with schools to enroll approved faculty.
* Non-tenure faculty must have the following qualifications: 1) have completed their terminal degree (most commonly their Ph.D.) and are currently in a long-term contract or permanent position at their institution; and 2) their current roles shares significant similarities with common tenure promotion considerations (with a heavy emphasis on research and publication) and the overall timeline is shared with common tenure-track positions.
Program Tuition
FSP is offered three times each year in 12-week sessions. Duke University may enroll faculty at a reduced cost during Priority Registration and Early Bird Registration.
During Priority Registration, tuition is $3,950 (an $800 savings). During Early Bird registration, tuition is $4,250 (a $500 savings). During Final Registration, full tuition is charged at a rate of $4,750.
